Our story

20 years in service
of international projects.

I had the opportunity to work in very different environments — institutional, financial, entrepreneurial — in France, Poland and Switzerland, always in international and multicultural contexts. Regular contact with counterparts from different cultures and languages taught me that communication is often the real challenge behind projects.

This observation led me to first create a language school (English Academy, 2016), then Janus I Communication Interculturelle in 2021 — to meet a concrete need: companies going international need support that goes beyond simple translation or standard language lessons.

We chose the name JANUS — the Roman god with two faces, guardian of passages — because it embodies exactly what we do: open doors between two worlds, look in both directions.

SG CIB — Financial Analyst, Paris

French-Polish M&A analysis, investment banking, group strategy.

2007–2014

Credit Suisse — VP, Switzerland

International private wealth management (Russian-speaking & Israeli clients). Technical rigour, absolute discretion, relationship skills.

2014–2016

Family Office — Switzerland

Global multi-jurisdiction private wealth management. Confidentiality and coordination in a multicultural environment.

English language school for individuals and professionals, progressively developed into a multilingual structure.

Founded Janus I Communication Interculturelle

Bespoke language training, interpreting, on-site support, intercultural consulting. Qualiopi certification obtained.

Native expertise, not competence

All our trainers and interpreters are native speakers of the language they work in. Nuance, register, humour, subtext — only a native truly masters these.

Culture before grammar

A correct translation can still fail a negotiation. We train clients to understand how their counterparts think, not just what they say. Intercultural knowledge is the core of our work.
